12 Apr Empathetic Communication Workshop in South Africa

University of Pretoria in South Africa welcomes back Memory Bridge founder Michael Verde to conduct a workshop on May 28, 2013 on “Empathetic Communication in Dementia Care.” The Centre for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) will host this one-day workshop to explore how caregivers and organizations of care can communicate with their loved ones and residents with dementia in emotionally meaningful ways.
